Roll Call: Ayes - PSessrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Davis. <br />Nays - None. . <br />Motion carried <br />. Ordinance Passed <br />Mayor Bennett informed Council that NIr..Hoag, Chairman of the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission of the Village of Niayfield,_has invited Council to attend <br />a meeting of rlayfield's Planning and Zoning Conimission and the Regional Planning <br />and Zoning Commission. This meeting which is tentatively scheduled for I'ebruary <br />23, 1966, shall be to discuss regional planning suggestions for the Village of <br />Niayf ield. - Mayor Bennett then read reports of various departments f or the month of <br />December, 1965, and the year of 1965, to Council. <br />Mayor Bennett requested Chief Porter to learn whether a leak in a gas <br />well on the Sowin-Lyons development is the responsibility.of Nlayfield Village <br />of Mayfield Heights, and report the findings to next month's meeting. <br />Mayor Bennett introduced a letter from the Mayfield Village Community <br />Club, which stated that the Village Hall kitchen is in an unclean state and <br />the Community Club requesl;s the Council's cooperation. It was then said that <br />the new Janitor would include the•uplceep of the Village Hall,kitchen in his <br />duties. <br />Mayor Bennett then questioned Council whether any member had anSTthing <br />to report. Mr.' Mason asked Mr. Peterson if any further development had taken <br />place regarding the widening of SOM Center Road. Mr. Peterson inf ormed Mr. <br />Mason that the widening of SOr4 Center Road has not been scheduled yet. <br />Mr. Walker, regarding the widening of Wilson Mills, questioned whether <br />the County should give the Village some idea of when the widening would take <br />place because of the concern of the people for having sidewalks installed. <br />Mr. P•4ason suggested that the Council negotiate to have the cost of <br />sidewalks on Wilson Iiills Road included in the cost of paving. <br />It was then discussed that property owners on both sides of Wilson <br />Mills Road would be assessed f or sidewalks on one side only. <br />Mr. Mason, seconded by Mr. Davis, ini:roduced a Motion that Council <br />authorize the Village Engineer to proceed with estimating the costs of the <br />sidewalks to be installed on the South side of LJilson Mills Road from SOM <br />to Hanover Road. The costs are to be pro-rated on both sides of the road. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Walker, Mason, S1oan & Davis <br />Nays - None. - <br />Abstained - Busa. <br />Motion carried <br />7.
