It was moved by Mr. Shaw, and seconded by Mr. Davis, that Ordinance No. <br />942 be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Davis. <br />Nays -None. <br />Motion carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Mayor Bennett requested Mr. Sloan to watch Zorn Lane, North,'because the <br />road has begun to buckle from the heavy truck traff.ic. The contrac_tors have <br />offered to pay for this. Also South Woodlane has damage to the right of way <br />and the parties concer.ned have offered to pay for it. <br />Mr. Sloan, reporting for the Cemetery Committee, reported that everything <br />was quiet and peacef ul. <br />Mr. Busa, representing the Architectural Board, read the Minutes of their <br />meeting of February 25, 1966. The question arose at the Board's meetittg whether <br />or not the Board function was considered an open or public activity or could it <br />act in private and without undue conf usion. Mr. Edelman stated that the Board <br />is open to the public, but the Chairman should be able to control the meeting. <br />The Architectural Board will begin meeting in the main hall room the first of <br />May, 1966. <br />Discussion of the new gasoline station, which is to be erected on the <br />Southeast corner of the intersection of Wilson biills and SOM Center Roads, took <br />place; the main topic being which direction the station would face and whether <br />or not it would be colonial or ranch type. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Sloan, introduced Ordinance Ordinance #943 <br />entitled: "An Ordinance to Amend Ordinance #360 by Increasing the Fees f or the <br />Submission of Plans to the Architectural Board of Review", which Ordinance was <br />read to Council. _ <br />Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Mason, moved that the rules of law requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Wallcer, Mason, Sloan & Davis. <br />Nays - None. Motion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Sloan, moved that Ordinance #943 be approved <br />and passed as read, Roll Ca11:.Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Sloatt & Davis. <br />Nays - None. Motion carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Mr. Shaw, reporting for the Planning and Zoning Commission, read the <br />Minutes of the March 14, 1966, meeting. <br />2.
