Mr. Sloan, seconded by Mr. Walker, moved that the rules of law requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. Roll Call; Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Sloan and Davis. Nays - None. Motion carried Rules Suspended Mr. Davis, seconded by Mro Sloan, moved that the resolution be approved and passed as read. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Masott, Sloan and Davis. Nays - None. - Motion carried Resolution Passed Mr. Sloan reported that Mayor Bennett had read a letter from-the State Fire Departmettt stating that we can decrease our insurance rates if we comply with the following: Increase the number of inen, complete T. I.E. course, and purchase a 1000 G.P.M. Pumper. Mr. Walker, seconded by Mr. Busa, introduced Ordinance #964.=,entitled: "An Ordinance to Amend Section 2 of Ordinance #476 by Increasing the Number of Members of the Fire Department" which ordinance was read to Council. Mayor Bennett will bring up the matter of crash helmets at the next Mayores meeting.
