Minutes of Regular Meeting <br />October. 17, 1966 ? <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session at the <br />Town Hal'1 at 8;00 P. M. <br />Roll Call: Present - Mayor Bennett <br />Messrs Shaw, Busa, Taalker, Mason, Sloan & Davis <br />Absent - None. <br />The Minutes of the September 19, 1966, meeting were then read to Council. <br />Following the vote on Ordinattce #959, it should read "Motion not carried", <br />also Ordinance passed after Payroll Ordinance. Mr. riason, seconded by Mr. Shaw, <br />moved that the minutes be approved as corrected. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - rlessrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Davis _ <br />Nays - None. <br />b4otion carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Building Committee - Mr. Davis - No report. <br />Mayor Bennett announced that we owe the ladies of the Community Club a <br />vote of thanks for the cleaning of the drapes in the Town Hall. ` <br />Safety and'Service - Mr. Sloan. <br />The State is drawing into its plans I the culvert on SONi. <br />Mr. Sloan, seconded by Mr. Davis, introduced an emergency resolution <br />authorizing the Service Department to install a 3 x 5 culvert in Thornapple <br />Drive at a cost not to exceed $2000.00 using Village labor. <br /> Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Busa, moved that the rule of law requiring a <br /> resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br /> Roll Call; Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Slaan and Davis. <br /> Nays - None. <br />, Motion carried <br /> Rules Suspended <br />' D1re Mason, seconded by Mr. Davis, moved that the Emergency Resolution to <br /> purchase and inst all a culvert on Thornapple be approved and passed as read. <br /> Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Niason, Sloan & Davis. <br /> Nays - None. <br /> Motion carried <br />Resolution Passed <br /> <br />1.
