Mr. Mason, seconded by Mr. Shaw, moved that Ordinance No. 988 be approved <br />and passed as read. <br />Roll Call; Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Sloan and Davis. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Mr: ;Shaw, seconded,by NIr. Busa, moved. to purchase a set of Forcible <br />Entry Tools and eight Turn-Out Coats at a total value of $700.00, <br />Roll Call; Ayes.- Messrs,Shaw, Busa, Ulalker, Mason„ Sloan and Davis. <br />Nays - None. <br />rSotion carried <br />Mr. Shaw, secorided by Mr. Davis, moved that a typewriter be purchased <br />f or the Police Department for. $344.25 less trade in and two Tolatapes for <br />$72,00, total $416.45. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - D4essrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Sloan and Davis. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motiott carried <br />- ? . . <br />The request of A. D"Agostino, Building Inspector, to take certain courses <br />at Cleveland Engineering Institute at a cost of $215.00 per semester on a basis <br />whereby the tuition and other_expenses would be paid in whole or part by the <br />Village is referred to the Safety and Service Committee f or determination or <br />desirabilitye <br />Mr. Mason, seconded by Mr. Sloan, moved that we advertise f or bids f or <br />a replacement of the police ambulance. ? - <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, r4ason, Sloan and Davis. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Mayor Bennett said that a study had been made of an ordinance to have <br />all new developers to have underground wiring. Mr. Edelman will draw up an <br />ordinance for the next meeting. <br />Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Busa, moved that the rental check for $300.00 <br />from the Grange be put in the-Building and Maintenance Fund. <br />Roll Call; Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Sloan and Davis. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Mr. Edelman announced that the renewal note f or $37,840.00 for the <br />improvement of Ridgebury Blvd, dated March 3, 1966,-will be soon due and it is <br />advisable to issue bonds at a,later date wh,en interest rates will probably be <br />more favorable and when this bond issue can be combined with a larger one. <br />The Clerk-Treasurer then filed a communication certifying the estimated <br />life of the improvements and the maximum maturity of the Note and Bonds proposed <br />to be issued in anticipation of the levy of Special assessments for the improve- <br />merit of Ridgebury Boulevard. <br />3.
