Clerk-Treasurer Lockemer gave a report on the appropriations for the year 1967. ` I N1r. Davis, seconded by Mr. Shaw, introduced ordinance No. 997, entitled: "An Ordinance to Make Appropriations for Current and Other Expenses of the Village of Mayfield, Ohio, f or the year 1967", which ordinance was read to Council. - Mr. Shaw, seconded by NIr. Davis, moved that the rules of law requiring an ordinance to be read o`n:.three separate occasions be suspended, = Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Davis. Nays - None. Motion carried Rules Sus-pended Mr. Walker, seconded by Mr. Busa, moved that Ordinance No. 997 be approved and passed as read. ` ' • Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa,Walker, Mason, Sloan & Davis. Nays - None. Motion carried ordinance Passed Mayor Bennett, seconded by Mr. Sloan, recommended the appointment of Thomas E. Roberts, 992 SOM Center Road'for theFire Department. - Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Wallcer, Mason, Sloan & Davis. Nays - None. Motion carried Appointment Confirmed Report of Engineer - Mr. Peterson ? • The.,intersection of Aintree and Derby Drive is being re-worked. Mr. Peterson was asked to remind Mr. Weiss of the work to be done on the North side of Sandalwood - the installation of sidewalks. Council recessed for ten minutes. Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Davis, introduced Ordinance No. 998, entitled: "An Ordinance to Amend Section 1 of Ordinance No. 940, as Amended by Adding Paragraph 1643.58 (h) Pertaining to Non-Conforming Signs", which ordinance was read to Council. rir.
