Clerk-Treasurer - Mr. Lockemer - No Report. <br />Mayor Bennett announced the calendar of events f or the following month. <br />Fire Department - Fire Chief Hejcl <br />The Cuyahoga County Fireman's Association Meeting will be May 11, 1967. <br />Police Department - Police Chief Shortle <br />Police Chief Shortle reminded the Council that it was time to renew the <br />Communications Contract with University Heights. <br />Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Davis, introduced Ordinance No. 1002, entitled: <br />"An Ordinance to Enter Into a Contract With the City of University Heights f or <br />Radio Service", which ordinance was read to Council. <br />Mr. Mason, seconded by,Mr. Sloan, moved that the rules of law requiring <br />an ordinance.to be read on three separate occasions be suspended, <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Davis. <br />Nays -None, <br />Motion carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Mason, seconded by Mr. Shaw, moved that.Ordinance No. I002 be <br />approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call; Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, ?aalker, Mason, Sloan & Davis. <br />Nays_ - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Ordinanee Passed <br />Servi'ce Department'- M r.
