DIr, Sloan asked if there had been any further investigation of the <br />sidewalks on Sandalwood. Mayor Bennett and Mr. Peterson said that Mr. Gaplan <br />had been contacted and that he would install the sidewalks on Sandalwood.when <br />the sidewalks were installed at the apartments. It was the feeling of Council <br />that the sidewalks on Sandalwood should be installed now. Mr. Edelman asked <br />Mr. Peterson to informally notify them. Streets and•Roads - Mr. Sloan. <br /> <br />The corrected streets in Aintree look very goode <br />The contract for the shooting of Bonnieview, Seneca and Glenview from <br />the Akron Paving Co. is in and ready for signatures. <br />Cemetery P.eport - Mra Sloan - No Report. <br />? Welfare and P.ecreation - Mr. Walker - No Report. <br />Architectural Board - Mr. Busa. <br />Mr. Busa read the report of the Architectural Board meeting. To date, <br />the Architectural Board has approved $973,000.00 worth of construction. Mr. <br />Walker made a Niotion that the report be approved, and it was approved by <br />unanimous vote. - ' ? <br />Civil Defense - Mr. Busa. <br />Mayor Bennett asked Mr. Busa if he had received any material from the <br />Civil Def ense. The answer was no. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Shaw. <br />Nir. Shaw read the ilinutes of the Planning and Zoning meeting. The <br />Public Hearing, May 31st, will be at 7:30 P. M. on proposed Ordinances Nos. <br />1000 and 1001, which were then given their second reading. . <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Shaw. <br />signed, <br />Mr. Shaw reported that the bills had been checked and the,vouchers <br />Mr. Shaw, seconded by Nir. Niason, introduced Pay Ordinance #525-P.,and <br />moved that ii: be passed. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - P7essrs Shaw, Busa, jaalker, Mason, Sloan & Davis. <br />Nays - None. <br />' Piotion carried <br />1- <br />Mr. Shaia reported on a letter from Charles Schiffer stating that his <br />pickups had increased from 780 to 811, an increase of 31. If the increase is <br />more than 25, he is entitled to $32.86 increase in pay, effective f or the <br />month of i1ay. <br />2.
