, <br />Mittutes of the'Regular Meeting <br />June 19, 1967 , <br />, <br />The Regular Meeting of the Council of the Village of Mayfield was'held <br />at the Village Hallon Monday, June 190 1967, at 8:00 P. M.; Mayor Bennett, <br />presiding. - <br />Roll Call: Present - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, S1oan,.Mason & Davis. <br />. Absent - None. <br />.-Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Shaw, moved that the minutes of the May meeting <br />be approved. ` " Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Sloan, Davis. <br />Nays - None. Motion carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Building Comnittee - Mr. Daviso <br />? . <br />, <br />They will start the work in the Clerk-Treasurer's ofEice soon. The fence <br />in the back of the Village Hall is up and painted. <br />Safety and Service - Mr:..Sloan. ' <br />The Mayor and Fire.Chief Hejcl have gone to New York and have made final <br />arrangements f or the Fire Truck.` A water shortage in various areas of the Village was reported. Mayor <br />Bennett reported that the valves will be opened at the 2nd.and 3rd districts at <br />all times. Mr. Weiss reported that the City of.Cleveland is in the process of <br />installing a 24 in.. water main. This will'boost the water pressure,.especially <br />in Aintree Park. A sleeve wi11 go under the Freeway. <br />The Fire Department and`Service Department will, repair and ma.intain'fhe <br />fire hy,drants in the future.. No action has been received on the traFfic count taken at, the Freeway <br />and Wilson Mills Road. Chief Shortle will check on this. <br />The Committee recommended the purchase of some,tools.f"rom Mr. Wieland <br />that had been in the service department'and were being used by the Village. The <br />agreed price was $250.00. <br />Mr. Sloan read a letter from.29 residents of the Sandalwood area , <br />concerning above-ground swimming pools. Their main concern was that the depth <br />of the water should be 30 inches or less unless there is a fence, and that the <br />steps should be removed when the pool was not in use. <br />1. <br />%
