<br />Mr. Mason, seconded by Mr. Walker, moved that the rules of law requiring <br />an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Call; Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Walker, Mason, Sloan and Davis. <br />Mr. Busa abstained. <br />Motian carried <br />Rule's Suspended <br />Mr. Mason, seconded by Mr. Sloan, moved that Ordinance No. 1001 be approved <br />and passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Walker, Mason and Sloan. <br />Nays - Busa and Davi's Motion carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br /> <br />(Explanation of Mr. Busa's "No" vote - 42% of the Village is residential, 270 <br />acres are zoned industrial, the majority o£ the people in the Village are opposed <br />to this zoning, theref ore I will vote, "No.'") <br />Engineers - Mr. Weiss - No Report. <br />Fire.Department - Fire Chief Hejcl - No Report. <br />Police Department - Police Chief Shortle - No Report. <br />Buildiag Department - Mr. D'Agostino - No Report. <br />Service Department - Mr. Foltz - No Report. <br />Council President - Mre Sloan - No Report. <br />Mr. Schultz said he had anticipated this vote, hopes to n:nfluence the <br />State to do away with public hearings and will apologize if we are going down <br />two different roads together. They have a substantial increase in the civic <br />league. They want the people to have the factsv <br />Mr. Sloan moved that the meeting be adjourned. <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:40 P.
