. Mr. Zorn, reporting for the Finance Committee, reported that the Pay <br />Ordinance was in order. It was moved by Mr: Zorn, seconded by Mr. Mason, <br />that Pay Ordinance No, 463-P be approved;.and passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn9 Wedler, Mason, Sloan and-Belzer. <br />Nays - None. . <br />Motion carried <br />Pay Ordinance Passed <br />Mayor Endress reported that he had asked Mr. Wieland to give us a report <br />on what we faced on road repairs this year, Mayor Endress then read this <br />reporte There was no estimate with this report. Mayor Endress then said that <br />the Finance Committee should look into this matter and see what was necessary <br />and what should be done; that we should have a meeting with Mayfield Heights <br />on Ridgebury Boulevard; that last year they had fixed the road and wanted to bill us, but this year they were not so willing to do this. Mayor-Endress - <br />said that he wanted to s,et up a meeting and see what could be done and'would <br />try and set up this meeting. Mayor Endress then asked f or a full and complete <br />report before the next meeting. <br />Mayor Endress then reported that he had received a call from a lady <br />on Beechhill Road, who did not wish 'to get involved, but asked why we could <br />not get the street pavedo She asked if. our Councilman could circulate <br />petitions for this project. Mr.- Belzer said that if someone would supply <br />him with petitions he pould take them aroundm Mrv Belzer, who had a corner <br />lot on this streete then entered into a discussion with Council on corner lotso <br />Our Engineer said that most of these corner lots have some pa'rt of them <br />exempted; that if a corner lot had one hundred feet on each side,"one hundred <br />feet would be exemptm Mr. Belzer then brought up the matter of a water line <br />he had installed on this street and said that the County should pay him f or <br />thiso Mr. Mason said that we should consider what kind of a?precedent we <br />would set in view af all the other work that would come up in the future. <br />Mr. Mason said that the Worton Park Association was meeting and he <br />would like to have some information on the cost of paeing to talk about at <br />this meetingo Council then spoke of the ditches in the-Worton Park Area and <br />the fact that a great many of them had been filled and said that this was the cause o£ most of the bad roads in the Worton Park Area. Mr. Mason then <br />asked our Enginees if he could come down and talk to these people at their <br />meeting. Mr. Peterson said that he could get some figures together for Mrv <br />Mason, but could not come down for a meetingo <br />Mr. Sloan, seconded by Mr. Zorn; then introduced Ordinance No. 765, <br />entitled;" An Ordinance Amending Section 3 of Ordinance 298, as Amended by <br />Ordinances Nos. 697, 731 and 756, by Providing Overtime Compensation for the <br />Assistant Building Inspector and Service Director," which ordinance was <br />read to'Council,,' <br />It was moved by Mro Sloan, seconded by Mr. Belzer, that the rules <br />of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be <br />suspended. <br />6.
