' t P t <br />Minutes of Regtalar Meeting <br />- ^ April 168 1962 <br />The Council of the Villap of Mayfield met in regulas.meeting at the <br />Town Hall at 8:00 P. M.s Leslie Belzer, President Pro Tem of Council, presicling <br />in the absence of MayoraFndsess, <br />Ro11 Call: Present ? Msssrs Zorn, Wedlex, Bannetta Masoeae Sloan & Belzer. <br />Absent - Mayor Endress. _ <br />- 1 <br />In the absence of Mayor_Endresss who was ill at his home, Council President <br />pro-tem Mre Leslie Belzer condueted the meeting. <br />The Minutes of the regular meeting of March 19g 19628 were then read to <br />Couacil. It was moved by Mro Zmrn, seconded by Ms. Sloan, that the Minutes of <br />the regular meeting be approved and passed as readm <br />• < < < . <br />Roll Call; Ayes - Messrs Zorns Wedler, Bennettslvlason and Sloan. <br />Nays - Noneo <br />Motion carried <br />, Minutes Approved <br />Mr. Belzer then asked f or reports f rogn the Cornmitteeso Mr. Mason, <br />reporting f or the Architectural Board, said that they had ffiet on April 12,1962, <br />and.approved plans for three homes. Mr. Mason then raised the qnestion of just <br />eaahat authority was vested in the Arehitectural Board, Mr. Mason said that he <br />believed the members of the.Board did not understand just what authori.ty they <br />had and made refereraee to a house under construction that,caas not confosming <br />to plans. Mro Edelman said that this constructiota should be stoppedrun.til <br />they complied with the plans. Mro Peterson, oua° Engineer, then gave a short <br />disconrse,on what happened in other communities when_they were faced with a <br />similar situativno . <br />, There was nothitig to report from the Welfare Commitfiee. <br />Mr. Bennettn reporting for the Building Committees said that he had <br />investigated the cost and fnstallatiota of a driraking fountain for the Town <br />Hall a[ad passed out some literature on the subject for Council to studyo The <br />Fountain in question could be ?nstalled for arotxnd $249.00. , <br />Mr. Masone seconcled by Mr. Wedlers then introduced a resolution that this : <br />Fountain be purchased and In.stalled in thf. Town Hallo . <br />It,was moved by Ms. Wedlere seconded by Mr. Zorn, that the rules of law <br />requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspendedm <br />- 1. <br />?
