Mr. Zorn, seeonded by Mro'Wedler's'then introduced Resolution No. 536 <br />entitled; "A Resolutiott to Transfer the Sum of $1,000.00 from the General Fund <br />to the Wates Main Trust Fund", which resolution was read to Council. <br />It was moved by Mr. Wedler, seconded by Mr. Mason, that the rules of iaw <br />requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspendedo <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn, Wedler, Bennetts 14ason and Sloan.. <br />Nays - Nonem <br />Motion carried <br />< < < • <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Zorn, seconded b}r Mre Wedlerg that Resnlution No. <br />536 be approved and passed as read, <br />Roll Ca11;'Ayes - Messrs Zorn, Wedlsr, Benneitg Mason and S1oan. <br />? <br />Nays - None. _ <br />` Motion carried <br />ResQlution Passed <br />Mrm Belzer said that, in reference to ttie receipt of equipment fram <br />Fire Department, he would like the matter tabled until Mayar Endress was <br />presentm, <br />Mr. Zorn reported.that in checking_.the,Village.Roads he f:otxnd two holes <br />in Thornapplp- Dra.ve and six itn Ravine Drive. A;representative from-.Worton:Park <br />Associati.on said_that.he would like to see the results of.the Water.Main assess- <br />ments before going aheaa withany thoughts of paving Worton Park. Mr. Mason <br />then asked if the County could f oree a sewer. through .Worton Park.. and assess the <br />people if they did not.want ; i,te:. eounci.l.said ,the -County could not.do thism <br />Mrm Mason said that he thought this was one.of the reasons there was a reluctance <br />to go ahead with any paving. The people felt that it would onlyr be torn.up for <br />a sewer. Mr. Mason,said that it was only his own opinion, but he'felt that <br />they shouldpave the streets now that they had water. There was also same <br />discussion in Council over the fact that the ditches s.n some cases had been <br />f illed 3.n whzch resulted in the present bad condition of the pavemeni, <br />- ? <br />.,.., - , . . ,. <br />A.resident fran;Eastgate Drive:then took issue.,with Council on the< <br />fact that a, stockade ,fence had,been erected without ,a permit.on his neighborfs <br />line. He said,that the drainage in Eastgage was very poor and, as he was alwaqs <br />building up his lot to take care of the watern his neighbor built the f ence as <br />a sort of spi.te affair. He objected to.the fact-that _the fence was installed <br />wa.th the wrong si.de facing his propextyfl ' <br />r...CoanciY.t?ieca took up the matter of drainage.and said that this would <br />have to be corrected before the street could be dedicatea and that they were <br />holding_bond money foac this purpose so.that. eventually this wpuld have to be <br />clpaxed up. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />60
