This estimate figured $100.00 a f oot, but our Engineer had based the figure on $125.00 to allow f or eve_rything and said that this difterence was most in sewers.and that it was a high estimate. After showing the maps, Mra Weiss said that Council should get , together with Regional Planning on this road so that they could establish policies. Mayor Endress then asked about setting up a meeting with Regional Planning and the Zoning and Planning Commission, together with Council, so that the matter can be talked over. Mr. Peterson then asked that copies of these plans be given to owners of the propertp involved and Mayor Endress asked that a dozen copies of the proposal be made in advance of the meeting. Some of the owners were at Council and spoke of having these improvements made and assessed. April 8, 1963, was then set f or,a meeting date to consider this matter, the meeting to be at the Town Hall at 8;00 P. M. Mr. Peterson said that he should have the plans.f or the SOM water for the next meeting and will also have the plans for the Lander Sanitary Sewer. The few questions oC drainage around the cemeterq and Brichacheks will also be available. Mr. Peterson said that he saw some gutters dumping water into the driveway and contributing to the water being dumped onto Wilson Mills Road. Mr. Peterson then spoke of the drainage problem on Robley Ilan& and with maps to illustrate talked about this area and said that f our sections of pipe were inadequate for the area. The pipe that goes over the hill is onlq 20% efficientm This is a.12 inch pipe. There are three sectzons of pipe at the other end that are ineff icient but the outlat pipe is the most important. Mr. Mason said that we should contact the people on Robley and see what is happening down there, but the cottcensus o£ opinion was that this should be let alone until it gave trouble. Mr. Edelman reported that our Radio Broadcast Ordinance and contract had expired and another had been submitted from University Heights. Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. Bennett, then introduced Ordinance No. 789-A etttitled: "An Ordinance to Enter Into a Contract With the,City of University Heights f or Radio Service", which ordinance was read to Council. It was moved by Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. Shaw, that the rules of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Wedler, Bennett,Shaw,Mason,Sloan & Belzer. Nays - None. . Motion carried Rules Suspended It was moved by Mr. Wedler, seconded by Mr. Shaw, that Ordinance No. 789-A be approved and passed as read.
