Minutes of the Regular Meeting July 13, 1964 ` The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in Regular Meeting at the Towa Hall at 8:00 P. ria, Mayor Endress presiding. It was moved by Mr. Shaw, seconded _by "Mr. Mason; that theMintti:es of the Regular Meeting be approved and passed as read, . . Ro11 Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw,Bennett,Walker, Mason,Sloan & Belzer. Nays - None. ' Motion carried Minutes Approved Mayor Endress then asked f or reports from the various committeese Mr. Belzer, reporting for.the Safety and Service Committee, said that they had no meeting in July but that he had a request from Fire Chief Porter that the Village defray the expenses of one of his men to attend the Firemen•s School at Columbus. Mrm Porter said that Allan Hejcl wished to attend. This would cost around $125m00o Mr. Poster also said that Gouncil approved this same appropriation last year, but he coitld not get anyone to go. Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Walker, then introduced a Resolution authoriz- ing the Clerk to issue a warrant in favor of,Allan Hejcl f or not more than $125,00 to cover his expenses while attending the Fire School. This Resalution was then read to Council. Motion carried ' Rules Suspended It was moved by Mra Shaw, seconded by Mr: Mason, that the Resolution be approved and passed as read, Roll Call m Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Bennette Walker, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. Nays m None. Motion carried Resolution Passed 1.
