~~~ <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />Village of Mayfield Village <br />October 28, 1975 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield Village met for a <br />Public Hearing at the Village Hall on Tuesday, October 28, 1975 <br />at 7:45 P.M. Mr. Prager presided. <br />Roll Cal].: Present: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Bluhm, Ficken, <br />Mrs. Negrelli and Messrs., Prager and Schulte <br />Absent : None <br />Also present were Mayor Leech, Messrs., Amendola, Byrnes and <br />Hovancsek <br />Mr. Prager stated the purpose of the Public Hearing was for the <br />public to make comments concerning Ordinance 75-28, entitled; <br />"AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE PARKING AND/OR STORING OF RECREATIONAL <br />VEHICLES UPON PRIVATE OR PUBLIC PROPERTY WITHIN MAYFIELD VILLAGE <br />AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NQ. 74-29". <br />He also explained a revision to Section 6 of this Ordinance which <br />is to read as follows in the proposed Ordinance: <br />Section 6. (a) It shall be unlawful to openly store a recreational <br />vehicle, as defined in Section 1 (h) of this ordi- <br />nance, unless the Board of Appeals shall have granted <br />a variance, that proper screening is installed as <br />required by the Architectural Review Board and the <br />issuance of a permit by the Building Department for <br />the installation of such. screening. <br />(b) The criteria to be followed by the Board of Appeals <br />and the Architectural Review Board in determining <br />screening requirements shall include the following: <br />(i) Location of screened area to adjacent building <br />or adjoining lots. <br />(ii) Size and condition of the recreational vehicle. <br />(iii) View of the screened areas from the street <br />and adjoining lots. <br />(iv) Quality and quantity of screening material. <br />Mr. Prager asked for comments from the floor. <br />Nealon Hale, 6164 Wilson Mills Road, asked if under the proposed <br />ordinance a race car could be stored on his property. <br />Mr. Prager suggested that he get a permit from the Building Depart- <br />ment and go before the Board of Appeals for a final decision. <br />There were no other comments from the floor. <br />
