1-.~'~ MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING Village of Mayfield Village November 25, 1975 The Council of the Village of Mayfield Village met in special session on Tuesday, November 25, 1975 at 7:40 P.M., pursuant to written notice by Council President, Frank Prager and sent to all Councilmen on November 21, 1975. Council President, Frank Prager presided. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Bluhm, Ficken, Mrs. Negrelli and Messrs., Prager and Schulte Absent None Also present Mere Mayor Leech and Mr. Relic Mr. Prager explained that the purpose of this meeting was to authorize the Village Engineer to prepare the plans for storm sewers on SOM Center Road North between Highland Road to a point approxi- mately 200 feet north of Hiclcory Hill Drive. Estimated cost will be approximately $30,000. Mr. Relic stated that the money would be available if Council feels that this project is of prime importance. Mr. Schulte stated that perhaps we should postpone a final decision until after the first of the year when the new administration takes office. Mayor Leech commented on the following problem areas facing the Village of Mayfield in 1976 and thereafter, and asked Council to consider them along with the Highland Road project and place them in priorities based on finances and severity of the problems. 1. Storm water drainage on 5OM Center Road. (In view of the fact that the new sewers in the Industrial Park will add more water to the SOM area.) 2. Aintree North Subdivision - Whitehaven, also a problem drainage area. 3. Kenwood North roads are in need of major repair. 4. Service equipment will need protection in form of a building to house that equipment and/or Fire Department equipment. Also, a new tractor will be needed. 5. Highland Road area. Further discussion continued on the plans for the proposed storm sewer work on SOM Center Road.
