6 ~~- <br />-2- <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Busa, Flynn, Grogan, <br />Mrs. Negrelli and Mr. Schulte <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved as Corrected <br />MAYOR'S COMMENTS' <br />Mayor Beebe announced that Mrs. Buzek appointed to the Architectural <br />Review Board and Mr. Vince Feudo appointed Assistant Law Director <br />were sworn in by Mr. Byrnes. <br />The Mayor advised that a copy of the monthly calendar was mailed to <br />the newspaper media by certified mail in accordance with the Sun- <br />hine Law. This practice will continue each month. <br />Mayor Beebe thanked the Service Department for their excellent job <br />of snow removal. <br />Mayor Beebe advised that a letter was distributed to Council members <br />for their review, regarding a 24 hour Open Door Policy at the Village <br />Hall. He has hopes of providing 24 hour service to the public. <br />COUNCIL PRESIDENT'S COMMENTS: <br />Mr. Barclay stated that he had received a letter from Glenn Booth <br />of the Civil Service Commission regarding rules and regulations of <br />the Civil Service Commission which are to be reviewed and approved <br />by Council. <br />Mr. Barclay announced the appointments to the following Committees: <br />Finance - Alan Bennett <br />Vince Busa <br />Robert Grogan <br />Public Safety - Alan Bennett <br />Larry Flynn <br />Robert Grogan <br />Public Service & Vince Busa <br />Public Utilities - Larry Flynn <br />Robert Schulte <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mrs. Patricia Negrelli <br />Proposed Newsletter - Alan Bennett <br />Patricia Negrelli <br />Mr. Barclay asked that each committee elect a chairman and a <br />report be given at the next. Council meeting. <br />
