~~~ <br />-2- <br />MAYOR'S COMMENTS• <br />Mayor Beebe stated that five of the helium balloons released on <br />July 4th have been found and replies were received by the finders. <br />Copies of the messages were mailed to children whose balloon was <br />found. The closing date will be Labor Day. <br />STt~TDING COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Finance Committee - No report from Mr. Bennett <br />Public Safety - Mr. Flynn advised that the committee is studying the <br />Police & Fire alarm System and vrill discuss it with Chief Shortle <br />upon his return. <br />Public Service & Public Utilities - Mr. Busa stated that he has just <br />received documentation from I~Zr. Byrnes for the legal description of <br />property on Beechers Brook and he will soon be in touch with Mr. Abbate. <br />architectural Review Board - R4r. Barclay read the minutes of the <br />July 15, 1975 meeting. <br />Mr. Barclay advised that new appointments will be made for the <br />Cemetery and Council of Councils formerly chaired by Pfrs. Negrelli. <br />Planning & Zoning - Mr. Schulte read the minutes of the July 12, <br />1976 meeting. <br />Recreation - Mr. Bennett advised that the next meeting will be <br />held on Wednesday, July 21, 1976. <br />Mr. Grogan as}ced what amount was allocated to the Recreation <br />Commission in the budget for 1977. <br />NIr. Bennett replied, "the amount which appears in the budget, $4,000". <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />Ordinance 76-14; Truck Traffic on Wilson Mi11s. <br />Given fourth reading. <br />NEW BIDSINES5: <br />Mr. Barclay asked for nominations from Council to fill the unexpired <br />term of Mrs. Negrelli. <br />Mr. Bennett, seconded by Mr. Busa, nominated Mr. Bill Boger. <br />Mr. Schulte, seconded by Mr. Flynn, nominated Mr. Sander Bordonaro. <br />There being no further nominations, Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Schulte <br />made a motion to close the nominations. <br />
