I think <br />vre should project a higher figure for next year especially since <br />we are having continuing litigation." <br />Mr. Relic stated that a Public Hearing was held for questioning <br />of the budget and also, that if this resolution were not passed <br />this evening, we would stand a chance of loosing government alloca- <br />tions. <br />Mr. Flynn asked that around July of 1977, as soon as Mr. Relic has <br />completed the budget for 1978 that Council receive copies of the <br />budget at least a week before the formal Budget Hearing. CLAIR AUTO BODY, TO PURCHASE THREE AUTOMOBILES <br />FORMERLY IN THE USE OF THE DEPARTMENT OF POLICE, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY", ~~aas introduced by Mr. Flynn. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Schulte, made a mottion to suspend the <br />rules of law requiring a resolution to be read on three separate <br />occasions. <br />F.oll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Bordonaro, Busa, <br />Flynn, Grogan and Schulte <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Schulte, made a motion to adopt <br />Resolution 944. <br />Roll Call: AYES: P4essrs., Barclay, Bennett, Bordonaro, Busa, <br />Flynn, Grogan and Schulte <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Resolution 945, entitled; "A RESOLUTION REJECTING BIDS FOR THE <br />CONSTRUCTION OF A BIKE PATH AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY", eras intro- <br />duced by 1vlr. Busa. <br />Mr. Hovancsek explained the reason for the rejection was due to <br />the fact that the specs were set up for asphalt or concrete and <br />the bids received were for concrete only.
