2~~ <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING <br />Village of Mayfield Village <br />September 20, 1976 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield Village met in regular session <br />on Monday, September 20, 1976 at 8:05 P.M. in the Village Hall. <br />Council President, Robert Barclay presided. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Bordonaro, Busa, <br />Flynn, Grogan and Schulte <br />Absent None <br />Also present were Messrs., Amendola, Relic and Lt. Gottschling <br />Mr. Barclay opened the meeting by asking for comments from the floor: <br />John Michalko, 6852 Wilson Mills - stated that the County had put in <br />a 30" deep drainage ditch along Wilson Mills which is now creating a <br />problem because the water shut-off pipe is sticking up about 18" loca- <br />ted in front of his property. The ditch is too deep and dangerous. <br />He said he asked the County what they could do about it and they told <br />him the Village should take care of it. <br />Mr. Amendola replied that the Village did put a galvanized areaway <br />cover around the pipe to protect it and there is not much that we <br />can do. <br />Mr. Barclay asked Mr. Amendola to check with the Village Engineer for <br />suggestions and get back to Mr. Michalko. <br />William Tackas, 520 SOM Center Road - questioned Council as to when <br />the landscaping work will be completed in front of his home? He <br />feels he is getting the run-around. <br />Mr. Amendola advised that Mr. Hovancsek contacted Largo Construction <br />to finish the job and if not, the Village will hire another contractor <br />to do the work and deduct the money from Longo Construction. <br />Mr. Relic stated that there was about $1,400 being withheld from Longo. <br />There being .no further comments, that portion of the meeting concluded. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Bordonaro, made a motion to approve the <br />minutes of the: <br />August 16, 1976 Regular Meeting <br />August 31, 1976 Special. Meeting <br />September 2, 1976 Special Meeting <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bordonaro, Busa, Flynn, <br />Grogan and Schulte <br />NAYS: None <br />PASS: Mr. Bennett Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />
