<br />MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING
<br />Village of Mayfield Village
<br />October 26, 1976
<br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield Village met in special session
<br />on Tuesday, October 26, 1976 at 8:15 P.M. in the Village Hall, pur-
<br />suant to special meeting notices sent to all Councilmen on Friday,
<br />October 22, 1976. Council President, Robert Barclay presided.
<br />Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Bordonaro, Busa,
<br />Flynn, Grogan and Schulte
<br />Absent None
<br />Also present were Mayor Beebe, Messrs., Amendola, Byrnes, Hovancsek,
<br />and Relic
<br />Mr. Barclay stated the purpose of this special meeting was to consider
<br />bids for the improvement of Beech Hill Road.
<br />Mr. Hovancsek reported that the. following bids were received, October 22,
<br />1976.
<br />Bidders:
<br />Cleveland Trinidad Paving Co., Inc. $19,245.00
<br />Black Top Paving Co. 22,775.00
<br />Cook Paving & Construction Co. 22,816.00
<br />Brecksville Asphalt Paving Co. 25,355.00
<br />After reviewing all bids, Mr. Hovancsek recommended the contract be
<br />awarded to Cleveland Trinidad Paving Company.
<br />Resolution 967, entitled;

<br />"A RESOLUTION DETERRIINING THAT THE BID OF
<br />COMPANY IS THE LOWEST AND BEST BID FOR THE
<br />ROAD NORTHERLY FROM ITS INTERSECTION 'nTITH
<br />JF APPROXIMATELY 685 FEET, BY THE PAVING
<br />EMERGENCY", was introduced by Council as a
<br />Mr. Busa,, seconded by Mr. Schulte, made a motion to suspend the rules
<br />of law requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions.
<br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Bordonaro, Busa, Flynn,
<br />Grogan and Schulte
<br />NAYS: None Motion Carried
<br />Rules Suspended
<br />Air. Busa, seconded by Mr. Schulte, made a motion to pass Resolution 967.
<br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Bordonaro, Busa, Flynn,
<br />Grogan and Schulte
<br />NAYS: None Motion Carried
