-5- 2,~~ <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Schulte, made a motion to pass <br />Ordinance 76-33. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Busa, Flynn, Grogan <br />and Schulte <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Ordinance 76-34, entitled; "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE <br />SUPPLEMENTAL PAYMENT OF WAGES TO CERTAIN EMPLOYEES IN LIEU OF ACCRUED <br />VACATION LEAVE", was introduced by Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Schulte, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to suspend the rules <br />of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Busa, Flynn, Grogan <br />and Schulte <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Schulte, made a motion to pass <br />Ordinance 76-34. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Busa, Flynn, Grogan <br />and Schulte <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Mr. Bennett suggested some definite rules be set up regarding vacation, <br />sick leave, etc. <br />Mr. Relic stated that he would send a memo to all Department Heads <br />requesting an up-date on all vacations and sick leave times. <br />Ordinance 76-35, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE SUBMISSION <br />TO THE ELECTORATE OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE MUNICIPAL CHARTER OF HAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY11, was introduced by Mr. Flynn. <br />Mr. Grogan explained that passage of this ordinance tonight would insure <br />getting it on the June ballot. <br />Mr. Barclay stated he did not think the emergency clause should be <br />abused as in the case of this ordinance, since we had at least until <br />February to submit application for the ballot to the Board of Education. <br />Given first reading. <br />Resolution 972, entitled; "AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION MEMORALIZING RICHARD D. <br />JACKSON, DIRECTOR, OHIO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, TO CAUSE THE <br />IMPROVEMENT OF A PORTION OF OHIO ROUTE 91 (SOH CENTER ROAD) FROM ITS <br />INTERSECTION WITH WHITE ROAD TO SANDALWOOD DRIVE, A DISTANCE OF APPROXI- <br />MATELY TWO MILES, FROM A TWO-LANE TO A FOUR-LANE ROADWAY", was intro- <br />duced by Mr. Busa. <br />
