Schulte , <br />T2otion Carried <br />Permission Granted <br />GE?3FP1'~L COMI~tiNTS <br />Mayor Beebe said there is a notice of a hearing on June 2?_, 1977 <br />for the approval of a license -to sell alcoholic beverages for the <br />Lawsons Triilk Co. i~ahich he believed =•ras closer to the Church than <br />the required 500'. <br />P~Zr. Burnes said he tr.ould attend but needed a witness to go also. <br />Mayor Beebe wanted to remind Council again that the Village needs <br />a night dispatcher. He said it is costing the Village money as <br />well as service. <br />Mr. Grogan stated,-:again the importance of someone being at the Law- <br />sons Hearing. T~Ir. Byrnes said it ,;rould be helpful if D'!r. Hovancsek <br />could be there. <br />Mr. Relic asked that all of Council be at the ne~:t Caucus meeting. <br />Mr. Hovancsek also said that on the 29th of June at 7:30 P.M. at <br />Lynhurst, the Cleveland Sewage System would be discussed and in- <br />volved 23 communities. He felt the Village should be represented. <br />Mr. Grogan said he would attend since the T~iayor had other commitments. <br />Chief Hejcl said Pat Vegrelli's mother passed away and the services <br />were private. <br />Gus ?imendola said the new tanks are on their way and the work on <br />Echo Drive is to start tJednesday. He also said that as soon as <br />this is done he can then get things started on Eastgate and Meado- <br />wood, probably Grithin the next 30 days. Mr. Hovancsek said the <br />Horvitz Company is standing by as soon as Gus is done. <br />Sergeant Litman reported that the Lawson Milk Company is open 24 <br />hrs. now. Mayor Beebe asked if he felt this ~frould cause any pro- <br />blems: The Sgt. said he didn't feel it ti4rould. <br />It c~aas mentioned that the Board of r'lppeals call meet next Tuesday, <br />the 23th, and Council could be involved. <br />T•4r. Busa asl~ed ~~rhen the Village Hall area was going to be paved? <br />Mr. r~mendola repleid that he would start after the underground work <br />was completed. <br />Mr. Bennett announced that Mr. Feudo was on the agenda for the Budget/ <br />~ppropriatis~ns meeting of June 23, 1977. <br />Mr. Ber_nett, in reference to the Lawson subject, said the state <br />usecl to have a Blue law controling~_~the closing hours but it has <br />'peen repealed. <br />
