~~_ MINUTEa OF REGULAR I~IEETIi~7G Village of I~iayfie ld Village August 15, 1977 The Council of the Village of i~iayfield met in regular session on I~~Ionday, August 15, 1977 at 8:05 P.M. in the Village Hall. Council President, Robert Grogan presided. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Barclay, Bordonaro, Busa, Flynn, Grogan and Schulte Absent: Iv~Ir. Bennett Also present were: T~Iayor Beebe, Tnessrs., Amendola, Byrnes, Chief Hejcl, I-iovancsek, Relic and Chief Shortle OPEN PORTION: rilr. Ronald Bear of 6819 T^7ilson Mills Road, stated that he and his two neighbors basements had flooded again and asked what was being done about it? Tvir. Hovancsek said they had shot the lines and two lines were coming in at a bend and the direct line into the Pumping Station would not take the water fast enough thus causing it to back up into the base- ments. He further stated that he had contacted i~Ir. Unger at the Regional Sewer District and they had two choices, (1) to by-pass the Station which was not federally acceptable, or (2) they would have to install additional pumps. i~ir.
