~~_ <br />MINUTEa OF REGULAR I~IEETIi~7G <br />Village of I~iayfie ld Village <br />August 15, 1977 <br />The Council of the Village of i~iayfield met in regular session on <br />I~~Ionday, August 15, 1977 at 8:05 P.M. in the Village Hall. Council <br />President, Robert Grogan presided. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Barclay, Bordonaro, Busa, Flynn, <br />Grogan and Schulte <br />Absent: Iv~Ir. Bennett <br />Also present were: T~Iayor Beebe, Tnessrs., Amendola, Byrnes, Chief <br />Hejcl, I-iovancsek, Relic and Chief Shortle <br />OPEN PORTION: <br />rilr. Ronald Bear of 6819 T^7ilson Mills Road, stated that he and his <br />two neighbors basements had flooded again and asked what was being <br />done about it? <br />Tvir. Hovancsek said they had shot the lines and two lines were coming <br />in at a bend and the direct line into the Pumping Station would not <br />take the water fast enough thus causing it to back up into the base- <br />ments. <br />He further stated that he had contacted i~Ir. Unger at the Regional <br />Sewer District and they had two choices, (1) to by-pass the Station <br />which was not federally acceptable, or (2) they would have to install <br />additional pumps. <br />i~ir.
