1.15 <br />1 <br />MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />Village of Mayfield Village <br />September 27, 1977 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Special Session in the Village <br />Hall on Tuesday, September 27, 1977 at 7:30 P.M. pursuant to a Public <br />Hearing Notice placed in the Newspapers, as required by law. Council <br />President, Robert Grogan presided. <br />Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Bordonaro, Busa, Grogan <br />and Schulte <br />Absent Mr. Flynn <br />1 <br />Also Present were: Mayor Beebe, Messrs., Amendola, Byrnes, Relic and <br />Hovancsek <br />Mr. Grogan stated this public hearing was held for the purpose to hear <br />the pros and cons on the rezoning of the property (several hundred acres) <br />north of Highland Road as stated in. Ordinance 77-33 that is presently in <br />the Court of Appeals. <br />Mr. Grogan stated the Ordinance would be up for approval of rejection at <br />the next Meeting of Council, which would determine if it would be put <br />before the people at the next Spring Election.. <br />Mr. Flynn arrived at this time, 7:35 P.M. <br />PROS• <br />Mr. Kreckel, 552 Zorn Lane, said he felt this was an ideal test for <br />validity of the Charter to put before the people and the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission recommended the adoption of the Ordinance. <br />CONS: <br />At this Public Hearing there was no opposition to the rezoning in <br />Ordinance 77-33. <br />Mr. brogan said Council would have a change to speak on this at the next <br />me~ti~ag of Council in October and should be ready to vote. <br />Dr. Frank Karfes, 6775 Hickory Hill, said the residents there would be <br />in favor of rezoning the entire yrogerty back to residential. _ <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Bordonaro, made a motion to conclude the Public <br />Hearing. . <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Bordonaro, Busa, Flynn, <br />Grogan and Schulte <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Public Hearing concluded at 7:.45 P.M. <br />
