At that time the church was willing <br />to have Heinen's use the church property for 30 spaces therefore, <br />leaving a 36 space variance. <br />Mr. Grogan read a portion of the September 27, 1977 minutes where <br />an agreement could have been worked out by the Church and Heinen°s <br />to eliminate the use of the easement onto Wilson i~iills. <br />Mr. Grogan recognized comments from the floor: <br />Joe Abbate, stated that originally a variance was required for 76 <br />spaces, now it's only 36 spaces. He suggested Heinen's go back to P & Z <br />and find out how many spaces are really needed. Secondly, he agreed <br />with Mr. Bordonaro in as much as the Police Chief and the Engineer <br />strongly urged ingress and egress on Wilson Mills. He said that if <br />ingress and egress Caere allowed on Aintree Park the Homeowners would <br />definitely take legal action. <br />Irv Phillips, said he also agreed with Mr. Bordonaro saying that in <br />essence, you are forcing P & Z to allow ingress and egress on Aintree <br />Park. Perhaps the lot is too small for the size building required <br />by Heinen's. <br />Mr. Grogan asked for a ~.oll Call for T9r. Barclays motion. <br />Roll Call: AYES: M®ssrs., Barclay and Schulte <br />NAYS: Messrs., Bennett, Bordonaro, Busa, Flynn and <br />Grogan <br />Motion Defeated <br />Mr. Bordonaro, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to repeal past <br />parking variance, granted September 27, 1977 with conditions along <br />with the recommendation by P & Z and to grant the variance of 66 <br />parking spaces. <br />Mr. Schulte stated that the property owners adjacent to the easement <br />must agree. to the setback with possible repeal of 30 spaces. <br />Wes Marrotte.;_ speaking for the Church, stated "Do you realize what <br />this will do to our property:" He said you will be hearing from us. <br />Rir. Barclays°ai~>edr°that creating a vacancy of 66 spaces that people <br />will be parking in other areas and maybe even on Aintree Park.
