2.,x)3 MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL Village of Mayfield Village April 27, 1978 The Meeting was called to order at 9:50 P.M. by Council President Vince Busa and was immediately acjourned for an Executive Session. This meeting was held pursuant to an emergency notice authorized by the Law Director at 10:00 A.M. on this date. All Council members were present with the exception of Mr. Bordonaro who, having been notified,-indicated that he was ill and waived his right to attend. The Executive Session terminated at 10:30 P.M. The Council Presi- dent announced that only the Myotte and Palermo litigations had been discussed. The meeting was opened to the public but no member of the public were on the premises. Ordinance 78-23, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF A NOTE IN ANTICIPATION OF THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING LAND FOR MUNICIPAL FLOOD PLAIN AND PARK PURPOSES, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY", was introduced by Mr. Flynn. Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Bennett, made the motion to suspend the rules of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate _ occasions. Roll Call: AYES: ALL NAYS: None Motion Carried Rules Suspended Mrs. Hanus, seconded by Mr. Bennett, made the motion to pass Ordinance 78-23. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Ordinance Passed Resolution 78-24, entitled: "AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE LAW DIRECTOR TO TAKE ALL STEPS NECESSARY TO ACQUIRE THE PROPERTIES OF HOBART HOMES, INC., FLOSSIE DIXON AND JOSEPH PALERMO ON SOM CENTER ROAD, BY AGREEMENT OR THROUGH EXERCISE OF THE POWER OF EMINENT DOMAIN", was introduced by Mrs. Hanus. Mr. Bennett, seconded by Mr. Flynn made the motion to suspend the rules of law requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. - Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Rules Suspended
