The Engineer and Mr. Amendola have
assured us all these items were taken cafe of and now all of a sudden
ther's a question on the street. There should be no reason to hold
this acceptance up.
Mr. Bordonaro questioned the possibility of a surety bond being required
as Mr® Busa indicated.
Mr. Fenel-i stated this was not feasible if it was not part of the original
agreement. -
Mr. Bordonaro, seconded by Mr. Boger, made a motion to accept Wildwood
Trail and a portion of Timberline Trail in Phase I of the Aintree Park
North Development as recommended by the Engineer and Building Commissioner.
Mr. Bennett questioned the sewer problem-that had been confirmed by the
County testing and wondered if it had been taken care of.
Mr. Hovancsek said it was on S/5 and the contractor was working on~it now.
Mr. Amendola said it was most like~yy a crushed pipe and would be corr-ected
by noon Wednesday.
Mr. Flynn questioned the letter from Ralph Christman and asked if the
problems were eliminated to Mr. Amendola's. and Steve Hovancsek's satis-
faction. Their reply was yes.
Mrs. Hanus asked if they could be absolutely sure no problems would
develope with flooding again.
Mr. Amendola stated he was satisfied with the grains but the Pumping
Station could malfunction and flooding could occur.
There was a thorough discussion on future types of inspections to~assure
problem free drains. Mrs. Hanus stated she felt every detail should be
taken care of before acceptance. Certainly there should be no room
left for a reoccurrence of the flooding.
Mr. Feneli stated the items listed on the Punch List were completed and
felt Council should honor the deal made in good faith.
Mr. Amendola commented that the contractor has cleaned the street three
times in the past week and feels the Village may have a law-suit on their_
hands if they continue to delay acceptance. .
Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Boger, Bordonaro, Bennett, Flynn and Grogan.
NAYS: Mrs. Hanus and Mr. Busa
STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Motion Carried
Road Accepted
Budget/A~~propriations - Mr. Bennett said he had two items he would lice
considered this evening - an ordinance and a resolution.
