MIIWTES OF THE REGTJLAR NIEETING <br />Village of Mayfield <br />June 29, 1972 <br />The Cauncil of the Village of Mayfa.eld met in regular sessioa at 24a.y- <br />field Village Hall on Monday, Jwne 19, 1972 at 8:10 p.m., Mayor Robert <br />G. Beebe, presided. <br />The Piedge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />Roll Cal7.: Present: Nlayor Beebe, P4essrs. Boger, Bordonaro, Braun, <br />Davis, Leech and Schmidt. <br />Absent: None <br />Also present were Messrs. D'Agostino. Edelmars, Hovancsek, Relie and <br />Chiefs Hejcl and Shortle. <br />Comments from the floor: <br />Mr. 14illiam Schulz. 745 SOM Center Rd.: "With the widening of the road, <br />Fioneer never finishec3 grading of the road and the sewer properlq." Mr. <br />Hovancsek ans: State Highway Dept., having cvmpleted its job, was re- <br />leased from any obli$ations. The village has nothing to do with it. If <br />minor problems arise in the right of way, then it is between the property <br />owner and the village. If outside the right of way, then the property <br />owner has the abligation. AZr. Schulz ans: It is in,the right-of-way. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said he would look into it., <br />Mr. Ed Gottschling, 6801 Meadowood Dr.: "On the north side of the street <br />opposite 'Thornapple' street sign the black top was neneered over mud." <br />Also opposite F'isher's Tavern sign a sewer grate down in ravine popped <br />out. Mr. D°Agostino stated he'd rectify it.. <br />Mr. Bob Cotton: "The parking on east side of SOM at Fisher's Tauern <br />exiting from Thornapple onto SOM is a problem (to see north bound traffic.") <br />Nlayor Beebe ans: "We are looking into the matter now." <br />There being no further comments from the floor the mayor called the meet- <br />ing to order at 8:25 p.m. Mr. Boger, seconded by M.r. Braun4 movefl that the minutes of the May 15, <br />1972 14eeting be accepted as written. Roll Ca11: AYES: Messrs.
