Session at t-he <br />Village Hall on Thursday, March 8, 1973 at 8:00 pomo, pursuar_t notice given <br />to all members of Council, according to lawo Mayor Beebe presidedo <br />Roll Call: Present: N ayor Beebe, Messrao Boger, Bordonaro, <br />Braun, Davis, & Leech <br />Absent: Mro Schtnidt <br />Also present caere Messrso Re1ic, Byrnes, and Hovancseko <br />Mavor Beebe explained that the main purpose of this meeting was to Lill the <br />position os Building Inspector and Service Di-rector as held by Tf?^o 1=.n'cn.ony <br />DrAg0St1110y whose resignati.on letter was received Monday9 February 26, <br />'1973--eisective Wednesday, February 28, 19730 ' Mrm Lester Foltz" who has <br />been with us for 16 ycars, was apbointed by Mayor Beebe as acting Service <br />Directo=o Louis Hovancsek, a certified Building Inspector or tne =irrl oz , <br />Hovancsek & Associat6a,9 was appointed acting Building .inspectoro Council <br />was inTOrmed of -chis action by a letter :Erom the Mayor. <br />n meeting was neld March 29 1973 in the Mayor's of'Lice with the PNayor, <br />Louis Hovancselc, Les-ter Foltz, Billie Portera and Mrs m D'iaynard • presento <br />Proceedures pertaining to the Building Department were discussed and out- <br />Iinedo <br />I Since the Hovancseks are graciously consenting to help us for a period o-c <br />90 days, more or less, it was felt that a part time certified i3uildir_g <br />Inspector might be employed in the futureo Vde also might have an employee <br />in our midst, for example Harry Krause, present Assistant Buildina Tnspector <br />and Assistant Road Foreman, who could take the tests and quali=y as a <br />CertiLied Building inspectoro _ <br />Alter further discussion, Mro Leech, seconded by Mrm Davis, ir_troduced <br />Ordina.nce 73-13, entitled: f'AN ORDINANCE PROV=D1NG FOR THE EMPLOYMENT <br />OF LOUIS HOVAAiCSEK AS BUIZDING T1NSPECTOR FOR THE VTLLAGE OF NAYr IELDtto <br />This includes a period of time of at least 90 days at the rate of $3500 <br />per montro <br />M-r. Leech, seconded by Mro Davis, made a motion to suspend the rules oi <br />Iaw requiring an Ordinance be read on three separate occasions o , <br />Rol1. Call: AYESo Messrs.
