MINUTES OF THE REGULAR P'tEETING <br />Vill.age of Mayfiel.d <br />March 19, 1973 <br />The Counci.l of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session at Mayfield <br />Village Hall on March 19 at 8:08 pom. Mayor Beebe presided. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />Roll Call: Present: Mayor Beebe, Messrs. Boger, Bordonaro, <br />Davis, Leech, & 5chmidt Absenta Mr. Braun ? <br />Also present were Messrs. Relic, Byrnes, Hovancsek9 Chief Shortle, Les <br />Fo1tz, a.nd Louis Hovancsek. . <br />The Mayor read a letter submitted by Mr. Braun to Council on his resig- <br />nation as Councilman. Mro Davis, seconded by Mr. Leech, made a motion to acceptyMr. Braun's <br />resignation. . , <br />Ro11 Call: RYES: Messrs. Boger, Bordonaro, Davis, <br />Leech9 & Schmidt <br />NAYS: None • - <br />Motion Carried <br />It uaas agreed Council would have a suggested replacement within 30 days. <br />RESOLUTION 837; entitled, "A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION", introduced <br />by Council. <br />Roll Ca11: AYES: Messrs. Boger, Bordonaro, Davis, <br />Leech, & Schmidt ' . <br />NAYS: None . <br />Motion Carried <br />. Council requested a copy of saiq Resolution be forwarded to Mr. Braun. <br /> <br />Comments from the floor: <br />llro Robert Mueller, 694 Robley Lane--referred to a Ietter he received <br />from the Mayor dated.February 1 re one of his neighbors who has a <br />compressor in his b ack yard and parked cars constantly in front of the <br />house which creates a tr.affic hazard. He strongly urged Council to <br />look into the problem and suggested some form of °toff-street" parlcing. <br />Although the neighbor claims he does not operate any business L'rom his <br />home, the same two cars and sometimes more are always thereo <br />Nro Mar-Cin Comella, 673 Robley Lane--stated he has also observed the <br />szsne two cars parked in the street daily. He mention.ed there should be <br />no parking at all because Robley is a narrow street and there are many <br />children. <br />The Mayor replied he was aware of the situation and admi-L?bed something <br />"loolcs fisny"; however, Police Department had checked the premises and
