<br />' ?A Village Girl Scout Troup 479 was represented by six gir].s who
<br />gave a presentation on bicycle paths. They referred to a news
<br />. article in the "5un Messenger", the progress Richmond Heights
<br />. was.making, and asked the results of a S.P.A.N. meeting con- .
<br />cerning uniform bicycle safety Ordinances.
<br />, TheMay„or,thanked the girls for their interest and presentation and -assured.themefforts.were being made. He asked Solicitor Byrries to report his findings in obtaining federal funds for
<br />?bicycle paths.- Mr. F3yrnes.advised he had written the State
<br />,, Department ;of .Transportation and learned funds were available;
<br />' -, however, similar requests for same were tremendous. He would .
<br />continue to.persue_.and advise by the next Council meeting if
<br />the Village:might be eligible to receive any federal or state '
<br />-, .monies.:;Councilman Leech added the Village is as interested
<br />as-RicYimondHeights and that S.P.A.N. is near to fina.lizing.its
<br />uniform bicycle Ordinance program.. .-:-
