MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />Village of Mayfield <br />July lo, 1974 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met for Public Hearings at the <br />Village Hall on Wednesday July 10, 1974 at 7:45 P:Me Mayor John Leech <br />presided. . <br />Roll Call: Present: Messrs. Barclay, Bordonaro, Mrs. Negrelli, Messrs. <br />Frager and Schulte. <br />Absent : Mr. Bennett <br />Mayor Leech stated that four public hearings had been scheduled for this <br />evening. At 7:30 , Orde 73-27 - a revision of the zoning ordinance, at <br />$:00 , Ord. 74-18 -the regulation of the parking and storing of recreation- <br />al vehicles; at 8:30 , Ord. 73°43 - the amendment of the zoning map, and <br />9:00 , a hearing on the budget. <br />The meeting was formally opened to hear proponents and opponents to Orda <br />73-27. Mayor Leech asked Mr. Bordonaro to read the title, "AN ORDINANCE <br />PROVIDING FOR THE SUBMISSION TO THE ELECTORS OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD, <br />OHIO, THE QUESTION OF WHETHER ORDINANCE 960 OF TFiE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD SHALL <br />BE AMENDED TO PROVIDE CERTAIN ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS UNDER THE ZONING LAIIS <br />OF THE VILLAGE INCLUDING AUTOMATIC REFERRALS TO THE ELECTORATE 6JHE'3.E ORDINAN- <br />CES ARE ENACTED PROVIDING CHANGES TO EXISTING LAND USES OR ANY CHANGE WHAT- <br />SOEVER TO ANY ORDINANCE, OR THE ENACTMENT OF ANY ORDINANCE REFERRING TO <br />OTHER REGULATIONS CONTROLLING THE DEVELOPNIENT OI' LAND AND THE SELLING OR <br />LEASING OR RENTAL OF PARKWAYS, PLAYGROUNDS, OR OTHER VILLAGE LANDS OR REAL <br />PROPERTY, OR FOR THE WIDENING, NARROWING, RE-LOCATING, VACATING, OR CHANGING <br />THE USE OF ANY PITBLIC STREET, AVENUE, BOIILEVARD, OR ALLEY, AND OTHER MATTERS <br />HEREIN SET FORTH, AND DECLARING AN ENtERGENCY". <br />Mayor Leech noted that the intent of this ordinance is to conform with the <br />Charter. <br />Proponents were asked to speak first. <br />Robert Beebe, 537 Zorn Lane stated that he is a proponent of this ordinance <br />and totally belienes in it. <br />Vince J. Busa, 6823 Hickory Hill Dr., stated that he also is a proponent of <br />Ordinance 73-27.:' <br />Mayor Leech asked for opponents. <br />Florian Rickey, 6128 Wilson Mills Road stated that he is opposed to Ord. 73- <br />27o He asked the following questions and gave the following reasons for <br />opposing it: <br />Asked if real property referred to his home.
