Mr. Barclay stated that if a vehicle is over 7 ft., it cannot be stored <br />outside, but a hardship can be applied for. <br />Mayor Leech asked Mr. Prager to read Sec. 6. Mr. Prager read Sec. 6 and <br />explained that there are people who have adequate lot size to store and <br />screen a vehicle over 7 ft., therefore this seetion gives relief to that <br />person. <br />Mrs. Wm. Goetz - 999 Worton Park Dr.: Asked when this ordinance would go <br />into effect. Mayor Leech answered that it could be passed next Monday. <br />She wondered if the Village had provided a lot for storage. She explained <br />that their problem was that they did not own the lots on either side of <br />them, making it impossible to get to the rear of their lot. <br />Bob Butcher - Joyce Road : Asked for clarification of Sec. 5 relating to <br />parking for a 72 hr. period. He also asked what constituted the height of <br />7 ft. - was told from the ground to the highest projection. Asked about <br />parking in areas like the Holiday Inn parking lot. The ordinance applies <br />the same. <br />Meeting closed at 8:38 P.M <br />2'he public Hearing for Ordinance 73-43 to amend the Zoning Map was called <br />off by the Mayor because Council intends to make additional amendments. <br />Another date will be set at next Monday nightb Council meetind. <br />At 8:40 P.M. as per notice in the Sun Press, the meeting for the hearing <br />on the budget was called to order by Mayor Leech. <br />Mr. Relic stated that pursuant to Revised Code, section 5705.30, copies of <br />the tax budget as tentatively adopted has been on file for two weeks in the <br />office of the Clerk-Treasurer. These copies were available for,public <br />inspection. Mr. Relic reported on the budget giving the estimate.d funds and expenditures <br />for 1975• <br />Mr. Rickey asked for the estimated city income tax for 1974. Mr. Relic gave <br />the following figures - estimated income tax for 1974 is $150,000. and for <br />1975 the amount is $161,000. <br />NTayor Leech noted that the city income tax provides more revenue than real <br />estate taxes. <br />Mr. Relic commented that the future looks bright, but we have to keep on <br />top all of the time. <br />Mr. Rickey commended Nlr. Relic on the fine job he has done. <br />Since there were no additional proponents or opponents, the meeting adjourned <br />at 9:00 P.M. <br />? Attest: Y <br />CMayor
