The repeal of the t-7ilson-i~~Iills Road East, sidewalk:. Ordinance No. 9~E was discussed, Mayor Busa felt that it should be neutralized, started from zero,~and that the people should decide by petition whether gravel or asphalt should be used. I~ir. Reich, i'Ir. Perkins, NIr. ScYiultz and Mr. Shillmaii shared his feelings and thanked the administration for considering the feelings of the people. Mr. I~lason: Playor Busa, Pir. Reich and .PIr. Davis, you are a~ti~are that we spent a lot of time, met with i°Ir. Ilichalko, I~7r. Reich and others, and that it was resolved that it was necessary fora Safety I•ieasure and for school children and pedestrians alike. Two children have been killed, one on Lander, the other on SOM Center. It is apart of a program for the entire Village:, is in accordance with sidewalks on Wilson-I•iills West, Lander, Ridgebury, SOM. as soon as widened and all new developments. Again, I will have 'to vote "No" for the repeal of the Ordinance. ilr. I•Ir. I•iason, seconded by IIr. Fitz-Gerald, moved that the rules of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. Roll Call:. Ayes - Lviessrs. Fitz-Gerald, seconded by I~r. Schtr.idt, introduced a motion authorizing the Mayor to consent to a trial run of a bus run from SO31 Center, on Ridoebury to Richmond, South to i~ayfield Road.
