z. Mr. Schmidt, seconded by Mr. Davis, moved that Ordinance No. 1049 be approved and passed as .read. Roll, Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Jones, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. ' Nays - None. Motion Carried. Ordinance Passed. Chief Shortle has obtained the Breatholyzer. Chief Hejc1 and five of his men will attend Fire Prevention Schools, March 13 and 31, 1968. The Committee approved the purchase of foam and 300 feet of hose for the Fire Department. An ordinance is being prepared concerning the grade of new homes. The Committee discussed the purchase of a Bronco for the Service Depart- ment. This matter was referred to the Finance Committee. Chief Shortle will contact the Gates Mills Post Office concerning the moving of the mailboxes vn Wilson Mills Road. Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr. Comella, made a motion to approve the minutes of the Safety and Service Committee. Roll Call: Ayes - Plessrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Jones, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. Nays - None. Motion Carried. Finance Committee - Mr. Davis. The Finance Committee met March 14, 1968, approved the bills and signed the vouchers. Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr.. Schmidt, introduced Pay Ordinance No. 535-P and moved the passage of it. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Jones, Donaldson, Schmidt, Davis. Nays -None . Motion Carried.' Pay Ordinance Passed. The Committee discussed the purchase of the Bronco for the Service Department, and ref erred it to the Safety and Service Committee for further study. They will obtain a list from the cross reference file of the Police Chief of the residents of the Village. This list will be checked with the Division of Taxation to determine who are paying and where their taxes are being paid.
