(4) <br />Roll Ca11: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Jones, i~onaldson, <br />Schmidt and Davis. <br />Nays - DTone. <br />Motion Carried. <br />Union Cemetery - I~Ir. Donaldson. <br />The Trustees met May 1 and l6, 1968. Ralph Woodie was elected as <br />secretary, Don Contine as Chairman, and James Donaldson as Treasurer. They will <br />meet later with the neighboring municipalities and prepare plans fbr dressing up <br />the front of the cemetery. <br />Streets and Roads - I~Ir. Fitz-Gerald. <br />The Street and Roads Committee met Sunday, Niay 19, 1968, <br />Mayor Busa read a letter from the residents in Old Aintree Park Road, <br />an undedicated street, stating that the name North Aintree Park Road had been <br />chosen and requested house nun'oers for their street. <br />i~1r. Davis, "seconded by P~ir. Fitz-Gerald, moved that the section of Old <br />Aintree Park including Haveners, Brown, Haughn, Young and Hronek, be knoom as <br />North Aintree Road, and be assigned house numbars for identification purposes only, <br />this being an undedicated street. <br />F.o11 Call: Ayes - Messrs, Comella, Fitz-Gerald, 3ones, Donaldson, <br />Schmidt and Davis. <br />i~"ays - None . <br />Motion Carried. <br />Mr. Peterson, Mr. Fitz-Gerald and xir, Comella reported that they had <br />checked the overflow problem of the creek back of r4aynard~s, Briggs and Pavlinsky~s <br />properties. The land on the other side of the creek was formerly a swamp that <br />acted as a retaining basin. Since it is now residential, the water overflows <br />on the adjoining properties. iKr. Peterson suggested that the bridge and culvert <br />be removed, since they are inadequate and no longer serve a purpose. <br />2Ir. Paul Pavlinsky, 6450 Glilson Mills Road and Mr. Harry Briggs, 6444 <br />Wilson Mi11s Road, explained their situation concerning the creek. <br />l~iayor Busa informed them that contact Would be made with the County, <br />the Village and the builders to determine who is responsible and what can be done. <br />Civil Defense"~ Mr';~ Jones. No report. <br />2l~or's Advises Committee - Mr. Fitz-Gerald, <br />He read the iKinutes of the ISay 16 meeting. <br />He discussed the problem of littering.at the Mayfield Village Shopping <br />t~Iall.
