I~iIiQUTES OF Ti-iE REGULAR P~iEETIIdG June 17, 1968 The Council of the Village o.f Mayfield met in regular session at the Village Ha11 oix Monday, June 17, 1968, at 8:10 p,m., Mayor Busa presiding. - Poll Call: Present - I4ayor J3usa; Z4iessrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Jones, Donaldson Schmidt and Davis. A'osent -none, The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. Pir. Schmidt, seconded by Pir. Fitz-Gerald, moved that the Minutes of the May 20, 1963 meeting be accepted as written. I:oll Call: Ayes - P4es_srs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Jones, Donaldson, Schmidt, Davis. Plays -None . Motion Carried. Minutes Accepted. 01d Lusiness: There is nothing definite on the gravel f-or the drive next to the Village Hall, i~Te have installed quite a few of the street signs; more are ordered. Five letters have been sent to residents with questionable structures in the Village; two have been condemned. The pot holes in Worton Park have been temporarily filled. P~ee~ business: The purchase of michrophones for use at the Council table was discussed. PZr. Davis presented quotes. ilr. Schmidt, seconded by I•ir. Davis, moved that the following sound equipment be purchased from Gartec Sound Equipment Co „ Inc., for use at Council meetings: Three microphones, three stands, one amplifier and troo eaall speakers and transformers. Plans are being made with the County to arrange for a ten-acre recreational area. This land is to be leased by the Village, Forty boys are playing soft ball with Eobby Summe'ts as their coach. 14iany interest- ing events have been planned for them. The men's soft ball team has also been organized. The Coxmnitte~ needs fathers to help get the ground into shape. P•iayor Eusa thanked Pir. Schmidt and his Committee for their fine work.
