i~iINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD October 21, 1968 The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session at the Village Mall on I~ionday, September 16, 1968, at 8:10 p,m., Mayor Busa presiding. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. PIayor Busa read a letter of resignation from Councilman John Paul Jones. Iyir. Fitz-Gerald, seconded by ~Ir. Comella, moved that the resignation of i~1r. Jones be accepted. . P.ol1 Call: Ayes - i~essrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. Nays - None, Motion Carried. Resignation Accepted. I•Sr. Comella, seconded by Mr. Schmidt, nominated I~r,•Sander F. Bordonaro, 6843 Metro Drive, to succeed 2~ir, Jones as member of the Council and to fill out his uncompleted term. i•Sr. Schmidt, seconded by Mr. Comella, moved that the nominations be closed. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs, Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. Nays - None, Motion Carried. Nominations Closed. i~Ir. Comella, seconded by PSr. Schmidt, made a Motion to case a unanimous ballot for P1r. Bordonaro. Roll Call: Ayes - LSessrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. Nays - None. Motion Carried. I~Sr. rdelman administered the Oath of Office to Mr. Sander Bordonaro, who was con- gratulated by the Mayor and members of Council. IIr. Comella, seconded by ASr. Davis, moved that the minutes of the September 16, 1968 meeting be approved as written. Roll Call: Ayes - ~Sessrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. Nays - None. Motion Carried. Minutes Accepted. Mr. Schmidt,.moved that I~Sr. Bordonaro serve on the Safety and Service Committee and Civil Defense for the remainder of the year, to fill the vacancy created by PSr, Jones' resignation, • boll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. Z-Ir. Bordonaro passes. Motion Carried.
