MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING Village of Mayfield April 21, 1969 The Council of the Village of May feld met in regular session at the Village Hall on Monday, April 21, 1969 at 8:10 P.M., Mayor Busa, presiding. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. Roll Call: Present - Mayor Busa, Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. Absent - None Mr. Fitz-Gerald, seconded by Mr. Comella, moved that the minutes of the March 17, 1969 meeting be corrected to read, on page 1 omit the date and time of the Planning and Zoning meeting, and add the word "gas" to odors on Sandalwood. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldson, Schmidt, and Davis. Nays - None Motion Carried Minutes Accepted Mr. Edelman reported that the Judge had ruled in favor of the Texaco STation and had ordered the Village to issue a Building Permit. Mr. Comella, seconded by Mr. Fitz-Gerald, made a motion that Council authorize the Solicitor to file an appeal. Roll Call: Ayes: - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldson, Schmidt, and Davis. Nays - None Motion Carried No report on Village Income Tax. Sesquicentennial - Mr. Donaldson The Committee is making ~~progress. A flier will be sent out soon. The History Booklet has gone to the printers. Patrons will be solicited for it. The new Police car has arrived. Mayor Busa paid homage to Ben Reich for putting the houses that are owned by the Metropolitan Park back on the tax duplicate. The taxes are retroactive for five years. Mr. Reich was thanked by the Mayor and presented with a certificate of award. Mr. Reich thanked the Mayor for the award. Mayor Busa asked Mr. Edelman to check and update the Mutual Aid contracts of the Police and Fire Departments with the neighboring communities.
