MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />Village of Mayfield <br />April 21, 1969 <br />The Council of the Village of May feld met in regular session at the Village <br />Hall on Monday, April 21, 1969 at 8:10 P.M., Mayor Busa, presiding. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />Roll Call: Present - Mayor Busa, Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, <br />Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. <br />Absent - None <br />Mr. Fitz-Gerald, seconded by Mr. Comella, moved that the minutes of the <br />March 17, 1969 meeting be corrected to read, on page 1 omit the date and <br />time of the Planning and Zoning meeting, and add the word "gas" to odors <br />on Sandalwood. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldson, Schmidt, <br />and Davis. <br />Nays - None <br />Motion Carried <br />Minutes Accepted <br />Mr. Edelman reported that the Judge had ruled in favor of the Texaco STation <br />and had ordered the Village to issue a Building Permit. Mr. Comella, seconded <br />by Mr. Fitz-Gerald, made a motion that Council authorize the Solicitor to <br />file an appeal. <br />Roll Call: Ayes: - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldson, Schmidt, <br />and Davis. <br />Nays - None <br />Motion Carried <br />No report on Village Income Tax. <br />Sesquicentennial - Mr. Donaldson <br />The Committee is making ~~progress. A flier will be sent out soon. The <br />History Booklet has gone to the printers. Patrons will be solicited for it. <br />The new Police car has arrived. <br />Mayor Busa paid homage to Ben Reich for putting the houses that are owned by <br />the Metropolitan Park back on the tax duplicate. The taxes are retroactive <br />for five years. Mr. Reich was thanked by the Mayor and presented with a <br />certificate of award. Mr. Reich thanked the Mayor for the award. <br />Mayor Busa asked Mr. Edelman to check and update the Mutual Aid contracts <br />of the Police and Fire Departments with the neighboring communities. <br />Architectural Board - Mr. Comella <br />The Architectural Board met March 27 and April 1, 1969.
