5~ <br />Mr. Edelman read the third reading of Ordinance No. 6g-29. He stated that <br />it had been approved by Planning and Zoning, The Mayor recommended that Council <br />take action tonight. <br />Mr. Schmidt feels that Ordinance No. 69-2g is in the best interest of the <br />people. Thinks that it should be discussed, <br />Mr. Bordonaro feels that in view of the strong public opinion,it should be <br />voted on. <br />Mr, Comella thinks that we have no choice. <br />Mr. Donaldson thinks that it has been highly discussed. They have lost five <br />prospective buyers - moved out because of the turmoil- the less said the better. <br />Mr. Davis thinks that we should take action. <br />Mr. Fitz-Gerald thinks that it has done us a great deal of harm in the <br />interim month. Industry has dropped, m~ee harm has resulted, but he can <br />not deny the people the chance to vote. <br />Mr. Bordonaro, seconded by Mr. Schmidt moved that Ordinance No. 69-29 <br />be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Schmidt & Davis. <br />Nays - Mr. Donaldson <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Clerk-Treasurer - Mr. Lookemer - No further report <br />Mr. Davis - Mr. Davis asked that Beechhill be oiled. <br />Mr. Bordonaro, seconded by Mro Fl.tz-Gerald, made a motion to oil Beechhill <br />Drive. <br />Roll Callo Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldson, Schmidt <br />and Davis. <br />Nays - None <br />Motion Carried <br />Mr, Comella- Mr. Comella asked about the down spouts at the Aveni Shopping <br />Center. Mr. D'Agostino had notified Mr. Aveni and Mr. Aveni is repairing <br />them. <br />Mr. Kenneth Young and others submitted plans for the Cutting Property on <br />Wilson lolls Road, Richard Bowen is the architect. Mr.,Edelman explained <br />that these plans will be checked by the Building Inspector, the Village <br />Engineer and the Planning and Zoning Committee and then brought back to <br />Council for approval or disapproval. <br />Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr. Donaldson, made a motion to submit the plans <br />of Mr. Kenneth Young to the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br />
