MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING. Village of Mayfield Oct. 20, 1969 The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session at the Mayfield Center School on Monday Oct. 20, 1969 at 8:10 P.M. , Mayor Busa presiding. , The Pledge of~Allegiance to the Flag was given. Roll Call: Present - Mayor Busa, Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldson,~Schmidt. and Davis. Absent - None Mr. Lockemer read the minutes of the September 15, 1969 meeting. Mr. Schmidt, seconded by Mr. FYtz-Gerald, moved that the minutes be accepted as read. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. Nays - None Motion Carried _ Minutes Accepted Mr. Lockemer then read the minutes of the Special Meeting of Wed. Oct.9,~ 1969. Mr. Fitz-Gerald, seconded by Mr.~Bordonaro, moved that the minutes of~the Special Meeting be accepted as read. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella., FYtz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. Nays - None. Motion Carried Minutes Accepted Old Business: Annexation Pro ress Re ort - An~open hearing will be held at 2:30 P.M. Nov. 10, 19 9 at the County Commissioners' Office. The Mayor invited all residents who are interested to attend. The Village will be repre- sented by a team of nine lawyers, with. one in charge. The County Com- missioners will decide what is best for the people who live in the territory .asking for annexation.. Mr. Edelman mentioned that precidents had been set when Beechwood annexed a part~of Pepper Pike, and when Maple Heights annexed part of Walton Hills. Local Income. Tax - Mrs. Maynard attended the tax meeting Oct. 15, 1969 and reported that Rules and Regulations regarding our Local Income Tax `; Ordinance had been discussed. In checking with Mary Brewer, head of the record room, our former reports were confirmed - we cannot check the Mayfield Village residents who have Gates Mills addresses until we receive . the 1968 print out with their Social Security numbers. This has been promised"to us before the end of the year..
