<br />0 <br />7• <br />Mr. Schmidt thought it wise to advertise for bids for another Police Car <br />this year, because the Maroon Police Car has 60~OOpmiles on it and is in <br />the garage for extensive repairs. <br />Mr. Davis pointed out that money had not been set aside for it this year. <br />We would be purchasing three cars in one year. <br />Mr. Comella, seconded by Mr. Fitz-Gerald, moved that we refer the matter <br />of purchasing another new Police Car to the Finance Committee for <br />evaluation and study. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldson, <br />Schmidt and Davis. <br />Nays - None <br />Motion Carried <br />Mr. Davis- Thanked the Fire and Police Departments for doing a good Sob <br />handling the fire. <br />• <br />r <br />rlr. Comella - The Kenwood Homeowners Association have asked permission to' <br />plant and maintain the cul-d-sac on Butternut Drive. Mayor Busa suggested <br />that an architectural board meeting be called to check their plans, so <br />that the planting can be done before it frosts. <br />Mr. Bordonaro - Wondered if the county was also sued in the bicycle case. <br />The Solicitor informed council that the county was sued. but was not liable <br />and did not contribute in the settlement.. <br />Mr.Bordonaro would like to urge all to tote in November and attend the <br />Cuyahoga County Commissioners hearing on the annexation , Nov. 10, 1969. <br />Mr. Donaldson - Reported that there had been quite a bit of vandalism on <br />Hickory Hill. Wondered if steps had been taken to get•disinterested persons <br />to appraise the Village Hall problem. <br />Mayor Busa thought it wise to get bank appraisals for the Village Ha11 site. <br />Mr. Schmidt- Thanked Mr. Schanfarber and Mr. Bennett and other residents <br />for their help at the time of the Village Hall fire. He thought it would <br />be wise for the Department Heads to submit a detailed report as to what had <br />happened. <br />Mr. Bordonaro, seconded by Mr. Davis, moved that the meeting be adjourned. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs.
