MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING Village of Mayfield Dec. 15, 1969 The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session at Mayfield Center School on Monday, Dec. 15, 1969 at 8:30 P.M., Mayor Busa, presiding. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. Roll Call: Present - Mayor Busa, Messrs. Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. Absent - Mr. Comella. Mr. Lockemer read the minutes of the Nov. 17, 1869 meeting. On page 2, the word " amending" was omitted before Ordinance No. 159, On page 3, relating to the cemetery, Mr. Donaldson asked that the wording be changed to read - " Mr. Mikula will arrange for the grave digging." Mr, Donaldson also asked that his comments concerning Mr. Broncato's eviction read that he knew that the Broncato's were asked to move but he did not know the reason why they were asked to move. Mr. Bordonaro's'statement concerning the Broncato's eviction was omitted from the minutes and should read that Mr. Bordonaro stated that the notice of the annexation was in the papers July 31 and in early August , the eviction took place. Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr. Fitz-Gerald , moved that the minutes be accepted as ~or.rected. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldson, Schmidt & Davis. Nays - None Motion Carried Minutes Approved Old. Business: Annexation - Mayor Busa read to Council , the letter that he had written and sent by registered mail to Mr. Paris. A copy was also sent to the County Commissioners. A reply has not been received from Mr. Paris. A decision must be made by the County Commissioners by Feb. 10, 1970. Local Income Tax- Mr. Lockemer reported that he had seen Mr. Corsi last Wed. and that Mr. Corsi had nothing further to report about our differences. 1-290 - A meeting of the Northeast Ohio Coordinating Committee was held Dec. 10, 1969 and a vote was taken ~~tith 27 in favor of the southern corridor and 4 against. It will go to the Bureau of Public Roads for their decision. SOM Center Road - Mr. Hovancsek attended a meeting Dec. 2, 1869 concerning the widening of SOM Center. The sewer in Mayfield Village was discussed. Mr. Olav Danielson- Mayor Busa read Mr. Danielson's reply to his letter of commendation. Mr. Danielson thanked the Mayor and Councilo Administration Hall Eire- Mayor Busa appointed Mr. Edelman, Mr. Lockemer, Mr. Leech, Mr. Davis, Mr, Schmidt, Chief Sh..ortle and Mr. Comella as a committee to meet with the Insurance Adjustor, Mr. ~~ormold.
