Y~Iayor Busa is awaiting response from the Bishops' Committee of St. <br />Batholomew in answer to his formal letter of inquiry. <br />Streets and Roads - Mr, Fitz-Gerald - No Report <br />Civil Defense - Mr. Bordonaro - No Report <br />Mayor's Advisory Board - Mr. E'~.tz-Gerald <br />Mr. Fitz-Gerald read the minutes of the Dec. 10, 1969 meeting. The Board <br />concurred with the stand taken by Councilman Fitz-Gerald and Mayor Busa in <br />Planning and Zoning Commission in reference to Upper Forty Apartment Proposal. <br />Planning and Zoning Commission - Mr, Fitz-Gerald <br />Mr. Fitz-Gerald read the minutes of the Dec. 8, 1969 meeting. The Planning & <br />Zoning Commission recommended to Council for approval the proposal for the <br />development of Upper Forty as presented by Mr, Ed Crane and Mr. William Giesse. <br />The vote was 3 to 2 , Mayor Busa and Councilman Fitz-Gerald voted in opposition <br />to the proposal. <br />Mr. Edelman reminded Council that Ordinance No. 69-38, entitled: " AN ORDINANCE <br />ESTABLISHING LAND PLANNING AND SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS, RULES, STANDARDS AND <br />CRITERIA FOR THE PURPOSE OF PLANNING SUBDIVISIONS AND DEVELOPT~iENTS WITHIN TIIE <br />CORPORATE LIMITS OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, INCLUDING PROCEDURE FOR THE APPLI- <br />I CATION AND ADMINISTRATION OF SUCH REGULATIONS FOR THE VILLAGE REPEALING ORD- <br />INANCE N0. 468 AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCES NOS, 566, 825, AND 1038, " was still <br />being studied by Planning and Zoning. Mr. Edelman, Mr. Hovancsek and Mre Carl <br />Bohm will meet with the Planning and Zoning Commission to discuss`this Ordinance. <br />Safety and Service - Mr. Schmidt <br />Mr, Schmidt read the minutes of the Dec,, 1, 1969 meeting. The Safety & Service <br />Committee recommended that the Police Department enforce the " No Parking" <br />Ordinance regarding the parking in front, of Leppelmeirer°s. The Counoil is in <br />favor of this recommendation. The recommendation to purchase fatigue uniforms <br />for the Fire Department has been approved by the Finance Committee. <br />F`Inance Committee - Mro Davis <br />The Finance Committee met Dec. 19, 1969 and approved the vouchers. Mr. Davi$, <br />seconded by Mr. Fitz-Gerald, introduced Pay Ordinance No. 556-Po <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldson, Schmidt & Davis, <br />Nays - None <br />Motion Carried <br />Pay Ordinance Approved <br />Mr.. Davis reported that the Finance Committee recommends a 6 o wage increase <br />across the board for all full time Village Employees along with adding a <br />longevity plan of $ 10,00 a month increase after 5 years, ~ 20000 a month after <br />10 years, $ 30.00 a month after 15 years.. etc. Also the vacation plan to be <br />adjusted to one week after one year, two weeks after 2 years, 3 weeks after 10 <br />years, 4 weeks after 15 years and 5 weeks after 20 years. Mr. Schmidt asked <br />if the Department Heads had met with the Finance Committee. Mr. Davis said <br />that they had not, but he would be glad to sit down with any member of Council <br />
