8. <br />_l <br />L__J <br />1 <br />A Special TLYeeting trill be held January 28, '1970 to discuss Ordinances <br />No. 69-5~ and No. 6g-38. <br />Safety and Service - Mr. Schmidt <br />Mr. Schmidt read the minutes of the January 59 '970 meeting. The Emer- <br />gency Phone, presently located outside the former Police Headouarters, <br />will be moved to the :~.°esent location of the Village Hall Site; <br />Snow removal of the sidewalks ~~ras discussedo Our small piece of equip,-- <br />ment is too small and our large tractor is too large to re~~ove sro;rwAom <br />the side~;alks. This problera will be discussed at the Safety ar~d ~e:~- <br />v.ice n=eetin;a <br />The residents cae-re asked to help keep the fire hydrants cleared of snoia. <br />Mro Schmidt reported that the Safety and Service Committee recommended <br />the ~pu-rchase of a Hydrant TYiaVr. ine Finance Committee also approved <br />the purchase <br />Mro Schmidt, seconded by Mro Boger, moved that tae purchase a Fire Hy- <br />drant Thalia fo-r approximately five hundred dollars 0500.00)0 <br />Roll Cal1s.~ Ayes -Messrs, Leech, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, <br />Sclirnidt and Davis, <br />Nays -None _ <br />Motion Carried <br />Mro Edelman stated that Ordinance Noo 6g-5~ entitleds ':4N ORDINANCE <br />TO PROVIDE FOR THE OFr''E'i~TSES OF ~.SSAULT AND BATTERY UPON A TEACHER, <br />SCHOOL EMPLOYEE, STUDENT OR 0^1HER PERSON DISRUPTING A CLASS OR SCHOOL, <br />ACTIVITY, AND USING IMPROPER, INDECENT OR PROFANE LANGUAGE T0~^FARD A <br />TEACHER, SCHOOL EMPLOYEE, STUDENT OR OTHER PERSON" -had been placed <br />on first reading, Mro Edelman read Ordinance No, 6g-54. Mro Fitz- <br />Gerald, seconded by Mro Davis moved that the rules of law requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspendedo <br />Roll Calls Ayes - Messrso Leech, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro and Davis, <br />Nays -Messrs.
