l <br />5. <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Mr. Boger, seconded by Mro Fitz-Gerald, introduced Ordinance No. 70-18, entitled: <br />" AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN OF MAYFRAN, INC." <br />Mr. Schmidt, seconded by Mr. Davis, moved that the rules of law requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Leech, Fitz-Gerald, Boger, Schmidt and Davis. <br />Nays - Mr. Bordonaro <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Village Records Commission - Mr. Leech - No Report <br />Safety and Service Committee - Mr, Schmidt <br />It was recommended by the Safety and Service Committee that Patrolman Gould be <br />credited with his part time Special Policeman hours earned during the past 17 yrs., <br />towards his present full time retention status and granting him 5~/z yrs. additional. <br />Mr. Schmidt stated that other patrolmen have some part time experience and suggested <br />that the matter be tabled for further study and evaluation. <br />The position of Captain of the Fire Department is vacant. The position could be filled _ <br />by the giving of tests or by selection by a Board. <br />Mr. Fitz-Gerald, seconded by Mr. Bordonaro, moved that we hire Mr. Schroeder from <br />western Reserve to give a test to secure a Captain and at the same time 'a Lieutenant <br />for the Fire Department, <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Leech, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and Davisa <br />Nays - None <br />Motion Carried <br />The bulk mailing stamp -has been renewed by the Recreation Committee. <br />Council recessed for ten minutes, <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Davis <br />The Finance Committee met March 10, 1970, reviewed the vouchers and recommended that <br />the Pay Ordinance be approved. <br />Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr. Fitz-Gerald, moved that Pay Ordinance No. 559-P be approved <br />for payment® <br />
