7~ <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Mr. Leech thought that it might be wise to place a=sign on Beta Drive( Industrial <br />Park) designating the curve. <br />Old Village Hall versus New Village Hall - Mr. Leech <br />Mr. Leech and the Architects from Huston Associates presented slides showing drawings <br />and costs for building a new Village Hall on the four acre plot belonging to the <br />Village , versus the remodeling of the old Town Hall. Alternate plans included the <br />using of the old School House on SOM Center Road. <br />The approximate cost for the building of a new Town Hall on our four acre plot would <br />be ~ 414,700,00. For the remodeling of the old Village Hall , a cost of ~ 172,200.00 <br />with ~. addition of $ 270,000.00 for extra floor space, making this plan a total of <br />~ 442,200.00. The third plan which includes the using of the old School Building, <br />plus.-using;_the Old Village Hall Site would cost $ 450,700,00. <br />The square footage for the--three plans would be approximately 15,300 square feet each. <br />Mayor Busa stated 'that he hoped that we did not forget our mission here. We had come <br />with an open mind. He wondered how to approach the general public with the information <br />concerning the Village Hall. A suggestion was made to mail out a poll along with all. <br />available facts to the residents. <br />Mr. Bordonaro, seconded by Mr. Fitz-Gerald, moved that the meeting be adjourned. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs.
