V I A L~G-~ ~f M ~Y-~ -~ ~ D 6621 ~/ i~son Mi~~s ~oad C~eve~anc~, Ohio 44124 PROCLAI~fATION FOR REALTOR j,IEEK ~dHEREAS, citizens of this community, and those throughout our great nation, enjoy the benefits, security, and pride of home owmership as in no other country in the world; and T~THEREAS, members of The Cleveland Peal Estate Board have been the main instrumentality responsible for this ownership of homes through their efforts to match needs of ocLmers with homes available, counsel both buyers and sellers, and guide them through the various steps necessary to complete the purchases and GIEIEREAS, under all is the land, and the citizens of this community have benefited as caell from the Realtors' efforts to protect the right of real property ownership; to provide the community with a sound economy through the use of their professional skills in locating, appraising, and managing factories, stores, office buildings, and apartment complexes, and to improve our city through their dedicated services in public office and the donation of professional knowledge of real property for the good of the community; and WHEREAS, Realtors, by pledging themselves to uphold a strict Code of Ethics, assure experienced, ethical, and competent handling of all real estate transactions; and WHEREAS, members of The Cleveland Real Estate Board, in conjunction with their more than 91,000 colleagues throughout the United States are celebrating Realtor Week, May 17-23,, to acquaint the public with the high standards of service rendered by Realtors; NOW, THEREFORE, I, Vince 3. Buss, Mayor of the Village of Mayfield, hereby proclaim the week of I~[ay 17-23, 1970, to be Realtor [leek, and ask all citizens to join with me in honoring the Realtors of this community.
